The Galaxy S26 FE is Samsung's upcoming high-end phone. It will succeed the Galaxy S25 FE, which launched toward the end of 2025, and is expected to bring improved performance, newer software features, and slightly longer battery life.

Design
The Galaxy S26 FE follows the design language introduced with the Galaxy S26 series and previous Fan Edition phones, including the Galaxy S25 FE. It could feature an Armor Aluminum frame, a thin and lightweight body, thin display bezels, and three vertically aligned rear cameras.
The device is also expected to have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
Display
The phone is expected to feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with Full HD+ resolution and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It could reach up to 2,600 nits of peak brightness and have HDR10+ certification, along with support for HDR10 and HLG videos. The screen may feature an in-display optical fingerprint reader and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
Cameras
The Galaxy S26 FE is expected to use the same camera setup as the Galaxy S25 FE. It could feature a 50MP primary camera with OIS and dual-pixel autofocus, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS. On the front, it may have a 12MP selfie camera.
All the cameras could record up to 4K 60fps videos with HDR and image stabilization. The primary camera may also support 8K 30fps video recording.
Hardware specifications
The Galaxy S26 FE is expected to use Samsung's in-house Exynos 2500 processor. This 3nm chipset debuted with the Galaxy Z Flip 7 in 2025 and features a 10-core CPU and the Xclipse 950 GPU, which supports hardware-accelerated ray tracing in games.
The phone could have 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and be available with 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage. Its connectivity features may include GPS, 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port.
Software
The device is expected to run Android 17-based One UI 9.0 out of the box. It will likely receive seven generations of Android OS updates and security patches for up to seven years from its launch.
Thanks to its onboard NPU, the Galaxy S26 FE could support Galaxy AI features, including Browsing Assist, Call Assist, Health Assist, Interpreter, Note Assist, Now Brief, Notification Highlights, Photo Assist, Transcript Assist, and Writing Assist.
Battery and charging
Samsung is expected to equip the Galaxy S26 FE with a 4,900mAh battery. It should last through a full day of regular use on a single charge and could support up to 45W fast wired charging and 15W fast wireless charging.
It could also be Qi2 Ready, which means it would support Qi2 wireless charging when used with a compatible magnetic case.
Launch and pricing
The Galaxy S26 FE could be announced in August or September 2026 and go on sale a few days later in select markets. It is expected to have a starting price of €799 in Europe and $799 in the US, making it more expensive than the Galaxy S25 FE.
